PLUS ULTORA'S GOAL

1/11/25:

Effective immediately, for all of 2025, 100% of profits made in shirts sales will go towards LA's victims who have been directly affected by the fire. It is, of course, strongly encouraged you donate directly if you must. I am only here to offer my services as someone who has been printing shirts with 3 years experience.

According to some, this rebuilding process is gonna take a couple years. Heck, the news is even saying there is gonna be even more winds this Tuesday/Wednesday.

I would love to donate for the next decade if I have to. This is just me being super ambitious and not thinking things through. So I guess for now, I need to see if this mission for 2025 will even succeed first.

Thank you for supporting this single-member business. I will also get my family on deck for this mission. Production starts in April 2025. Please also support by pre-order or spread the word of this mission until then!

If you really need a reason as to why I have this hidden from the homepage is that I do not want to use someone's tragedy as a selling point. Please only support my business because you legitimately support my vision, which is to sell high quality tees at low prices to those who support me through a monthly subscription. Donating my profits is what I genuinely want to do and with your help through the membership, it will definitely happen.

12/29/24: Other than selling high quality quality tees at affordable prices, are there any other goals for this brand?

Being a Filipino-American born and raised in Los Angeles, I grew up in Historic Filipinotown where I felt a sense of community and belonging. I made good friends and met good people along the way that made that possible. Seeing my surroundings, like my local Mcdonald's on Temple & Vermont, the filipino elderly would hang out there all day and drink hot coffee talking up a storm for hours. Being grown now, I look back and think to myself daily that those were good times not just for me, but for everyone in that city.

That is why I want to delve into the world of Community Wealth Building, which is a economic development model I have been longing to put into practice because it is very community-focused. In short, encourage a small community with local spending; keeping the wealth in the community. By investing in me and this shirt business, I would like to expand on other trades, products, necessities in demand in order to help build spread wealth starting with my childhood home, Historic Filipinotown.

There has not been a better time than now to put your trust into someone who will genuinely offer their full commitment to the community. Yes, I started this shirt printing business in order to, of course, adapt through everyday life like everyone else. We are in a day and age where looking out for our own family or even ourselves can be a struggle and thus can not give time and efforts into serving the community. I get it. I really do. However, with wage inequality being just one of the issues that is growing by the day, this sense of community I use to feel growing up is now something I selfishly yearn for. I want to do all I can to get that back, if given the voice and opportunity.

I may not have a voice loud enough to reach everyone right now. Whether it is you were born in Historic Filipinotown, or in the neighboring small cities of Koreatown, Thai Town, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, or your towns from wherever you guys are from, there is no better time than now to build your communities wealth. Building wealth locally, empowering its people with employee-owned businesses, and overall supporting one another rather than big corporate companies is a very possible thing. It is a very ambitious mission, but I hope my genuine feelings reach you someday. Please make sure to follow my journey via Instagram @plusultora

How can I support?

I started this "membersheep", or a monthly membership that will mostly be used for this goal. Your monthly contributions will be heavily appreciated. Please keep in mind that this is still a business and need to solidify a foundation around it. Shirt printing is really all I know as I have been in this trade for 3 years now.

Sorry for the lack of seriousness using an anime sheep girl as my "mascot" lol.
